Objets de rencontre  – オブジェ ド ランコントル –

かねてより、清課堂とヴィラ九条山は共同で工芸分野での新しいクリエーションスタイルに挑んでいます。
本展覧会「 Objets de rencontre -オブジェ ド ランコントル- 」 は、ヴィラ九条山の工芸部門のレジデントの宝飾デザイナーのマズロ/Karl Mazloと、銅系金属の旋盤加工のスペシャリストのミリン･グエン/Mylinh Nguyenを迎え、彼らが日本で様々な人・物・事・場に出会い (rencontre ・ランコントル) 感じ得たことを、それぞれの形として生み出した展覧会になります。
是非、二人それぞれの世界をお楽しみください。

主催者と共催者からのご挨拶

金属を駆使し独特の世界観をフランス本国で表現し評価の高いミリン・グエンとカルル・マズロ。オブジェ、ジュエリーと得意な分野こそ違いますが、ヴィラ九条山レジデントの2人がそれぞれ京都にて自然、建築、伝統文化や手わざを研究しつつ、清課堂と出会い感じ得たことを形として生み出しています。今年もフランス人作家を迎えニュイ･ブランシュKYOTOの時期に合わせ、展覧会「Objets de rencontre  -オブジェ ド ランコントル-」を開催いたします。ぜひ御高覧ください。

ニュイ･ブランシュ KYOTO 2016に先立ち、清課堂とヴィラ九条山の、素晴らしいコラボレーションの、新たな段階をご紹介する展覧会のオープニングに、皆様を御招待できることをうれしく思います。「Objets de rencontre  -オブジェ ド ランコントル-」展では、カルル・マズロとミリン・グエンが日本での経験を得て生み出した作品を御覧頂きます。

本展覧会は、ニュイ・ブランシュ KYOTO 2016参加展覧会の為、当日、10月1日（土）のみ午後10時まで開場時間を延長しております。

清課堂は金属という素材を通じ、文化・技術を学び金属工芸界がより豊かになることを目的とし、さまざまな国との交流を続けています。 予ねてより交流を持つフランス・パリの姉妹都市である京都市では「ニュイ・ブランシュ KYOTO」が開催され、今年も清課堂ではフランス人アーティストを 迎えて参加しております。

※ ニュイ･ブランシュ：フランスのパリにて毎秋開催される一夜限りの現代アートの祭

Mylinh Nguyen and Karl Mazlo are highly regarded in their native France for their creative use of metal and their uniquely expressed worldviews.While their specialist areas of objet d’art and jewelry are different, while working in Kyoto, their research has overlapped in areas such as nature, architecture, traditional culture, and technique. It is at this point that Seikado encountered their work.This year, we are combining the established exhibition of French artists with the opening of the annual Nuit blanche Kyoto to create a tremendous double-feature.

Participation in NUIT BLANCHE KYOTO 2016

Seikado has continued to converse and exchange with various countries in order to promote the world of metal arts and learn about culture and crafts through the medium of metal. Seikado has a history of exchange with France, and the opening of NUIT BLANCHE in Kyoto, a sister city of Paris, means that this year we are able to once again welcome French artists to participate.
* NUIT BLANCHE: an annual one-night modern art festival held every Autumn in Paris, France.
