We are located in a quiet and relaxing area, despite being in the right city centre.
There are quite a few shops which sell arts and antiques in this area these days, which is appealing to those who enjoy shopping while taking their time. Also, we are fairly close to the Kyoto Imperial Palace and the River Kamo, and there are numerous long-established and historical shops in this area, too, selling such things as products for tea and calligraphy.
